Frequently Asked Questions

Is it normal to feel nervous or anxious about therapy?

Absolutely! Most people feel apprehensive or anxious about engaging in therapy as it is another step closer to addressing the things that cause them stress and would rather avoid. People may also feel uncomfortable sharing personal things with someone they do not know. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe to explore your stresses, to gain another perspective and to build tools to cope with what you are facing.

Will therapy be confidential?

Yes! It is very important for me to maintain your privacy and confidentiality. We will discuss more about how confidentiality works in the therapeutic relationship during your first appointment.

What can I expect with my first appointment?

During your first appointment, your intake paperwork will be reviewed including Practices Policies and Informed Consent, Notice of Privacy Practices, and any recommended Releases of Information. We will discuss any presenting concerns and relevant history in order to gain a thorough assessment. We will then discuss treatment goals and recommendations and schedule accordingly.

What should I expect with therapy?

Everyone’s journey in therapy is different, therefore it is difficult to state specifics but this will be discussed in your first session. The duration of therapy will also depend on your presenting struggles, your desire for personal development, your commitment and the identified therapeutic goals.

What is the cancellation policy?

I require a 24-hour cancellation notice in order to allow enough time to accommodate for other clients to schedule if needed. You may cancel your appointment via email at Natasha@insighttelehealth.com. By cancelling with less than 24 hours, you may be responsible for a late cancellation fee.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You may either email me at my secure and confidential email at Natasha@insighttelehealth.com or call me at 941-329-6417 in order for me to answer any additional questions/concerns you may have and/or to initiate the therapy process and schedule your intake appointment.
